How much will a new website cost?

If you’re a small to medium sized business and you choose to hire us to create a brand new site or redesign your old one, you’re probably looking at about $3000 – $5000. If you have a web application, that could cost more for the added security and functionality depending on the requirements.

WordPress currently runs 43% of websites in the world, according to W3 Techs. There is massive support, ongoing frequent updates, and an army of free and paid plugins for added functionality. It’s also extremely easy to work with when building purely custom functionality via new plugins and custom themes.

What is a website vs a web application?

A website is typically just text, images, videos, and maybe a contact form. There isn’t a lot of functionality and its purpose is to convey information to users.

A web application is usually a larger version of a website that entails user creation, logins, profiles, and functionality such as storing user information in a database, uploading images and video, and providing other services.

You can think of a website as a blog you regularly get recipes from. Whereas a web application, for example, is your bank’s online portal where you can pay bills and transfer money.

Do you offer website maintenance?

Yes! We offer low-fee monthly retainers for basic WordPress maintenance and ongoing monitoring of SEO (search engine optimization), security, updates, and hosting settings. Most clients opt for 20 hours per month but you can go even lower if the site has very basic maintenance needs.

Do you handle search engine optimization?

Yes! We can create a new site or update your existing one to get phenomenal Google Page Speed Insights and GTMetrix scores. Often times, this is the first needed step. After that, we’ll start a campaign to find your best options for ranking keywords and help optimize your site’s content to start ranking better in search results.
